How to operate a Logitech Webcam

Logitech webcams are widely used in computers running Windows operating systems. With a webcam, you can have voice chat and video chat with your friends and family. Like most other manufacturers, Logitech webcams come with software that helps you install and operate a webcam.

Launch your Logitech Webcam.

Step 1

Insert the CD (supplied for you when purchasing a web camera) into the CD / DVD drive.

Step 2

Choose “Install / Start” when prompted. Choose your language.

Step 3

Follow the prompts that appear on the screen (personal information, location, email address, etc.) to complete the installation.

Step 4

Plug in your webcam when promoting it. Insert the USB webcam cable into a USB port. Wait patiently as Windows installs the necessary drivers required to operate the webcam.

Step 5

Click “Finish” when prompted. Launch the webcam software from the Start menu (under the “Logitech” folder) or the Quick Launch icon in the taskbar notification area (next to the clock).
