How to install Logitech Webcam
Most Logitech webcams come with a software installation disc with computer drivers. If you do not have the disk, you can download and install the software and driver directly from Logitech’s website.

Method 1 of 3: Use the installation disc
- Place the webcam as desired on the top of the computer.
- Insert the webcam installation disc into the computer’s optical reader. Then Logitech Installation Wizard will open on the screen.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to install the Logitech webcam software and drivers on your computer. An installation wizard will guide you through the process.
- Connect the webcam to the computer via USB when prompted by the installation wizard. Logitech webcam is now ready to use.
Method 2 of 3: Download software and drivers
- Place the webcam as desired on the top of the computer.
- Go to Logitech’s support page .
- Click “Webcams and camera systems” then “More” under your webcam model.
- Click on the “Downloads” tab. After that, your webcam software will appear on the screen.
- Select your computer’s operating system from the drop-down list and then click ‘Download’.
- Select the option to save the program file to the desktop.
- Go to your desktop and double-click on the downloaded file. After that, the installation wizard will appear on the screen.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to install the Logitech webcam software and drivers on your computer. An installation wizard will guide you through the process.
- Connect the webcam to the computer via USB when prompted by the installation wizard. Logitech webcam is now ready to use.
Method 3 of 3: Troubleshoot webcam installation errors
- Try to connect the webcam to another USB port on your computer if it does not work. A defective USB port can prevent the web from working or being detected properly on your computer.
- Try uninstalling and reinstalling the webcam drivers manually if Windows automatically installed them, and they aren’t working. In some cases, Windows might install generic Logitech drivers, and they might not work properly for your specific model.
- Click the “Start” menu, then the right-click “Computer”.
- Select “Management”, then click “Device Manager” in the “Computer Management” window.
- Right-click on “Imaging Devices” and select “Uninstall.”
